Dear NSBE Members and Friends,
You are cordially invited to attend our final 2012-2013 General Body Meeting, on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the Engineering Society of Detroit offices in Southfield, MI. The meeting will be dedicated to honoring our youth that have an interest in STEM related fields. Our featured Speaker is Pat Walker Locke President, Life Plan Services LLC and Seeds of Humanity Foundation Inc., and winner of the 2013 NSBE Golden Torch Legacy Award This is our 1st Annual Scholarship program, and I am truly excited about the event. We are still accepting donations for this year’s scholarships; you can make a donation by mailing to the PO Box that is listed on our website at nsbe-dae.org.
We will also hold elections for the 2013-2014 Program year, and all positions are up for voting; make your voice heard by attending and voting at this year’s meeting. We are asking for a donation of $5 from everyone that attends, and dinner will be served.
